Our daily schedule is thoughtfully designed to create a fun, engaging, and enriching experience for your child. We balance structured learning with imaginative play to nurture all areas of development: social-emotional, physical, language and literacy, mathematics and reasoning, social studies, science, and creativity.

Here is a look at what your preschooler’s day might include:
A Day of Discovery and Learning
-
Learning Foundations: We weave key concepts like colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and character traits throughout our day, introducing them in the morning and reflecting on them together at day's end.
-
Ready, Set, Read & Write: Activities focus on building the foundational skills needed for reading and writing, including fun exercises like Heggerty Phonemic Awareness during circle time.
-
Music & Movement: We get our bodies moving and grooving! These activities are key to developing language skills and coordination.
-
Story Time & Snack: A relaxing time to enjoy a healthy snack and a story. We practice important early literacy skills like retelling the story and understanding characters' feelings.
-
Creative Corner (Crafts): Your child can unleash their imagination! We also use this time to practice important fine motor skills (like cutting and gluing).
-
Playful Learning (Games): Group activities and games help children develop crucial social and emotional skills, such as cooperation, sharing, and problem-solving.
Deep Dive Learning: Investigation Stations
Children explore various themed stations that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and responsibility. Examples include stations for:
-
Emotions and social skills
-
Math and patterns
-
Imagination and role-play
-
Motor skills challenges
During this time, teachers also work with children in small learning groups and one-on-one sessions to provide individual support tailored to each child's specific academic needs. This allows us to gather authentic assessments of their progress in a natural, supportive environment.
Special Addition: Weekly Tumbling Class
As an exciting bonus, our schedule includes a 30-minute weekly tumbling class at no extra cost (a $55 value)! This class is a fantastic way to develop physical skills, balance, and coordination in a safe and supervised environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM RISE PRESCHOOL
Meet the Teacher
Brooke Rose

I started my first preschool in Utah County in 2012 and have continued to grow and improve it every year since. Moving to St. George and opening a preschool at Rise Dance Studio last year has been no exception. I have a love for learning and am continually furthering my education through online courses at BYU-Idaho and updating my curriculum and learning techniques to better serve the students in my classes. I enjoy preparing children for kindergarten by developing their confidence and love for learning, providing encouragement and activities to reach age-appropriate goals, and fostering an environment that allows social skills to flourish. I have proven a successful preschool curriculum and effective resources in my classes.

I have 4 school-age boys who have brought me more joy than I could imagine. In being their mom, I have learned what truly matters in life and that through love, hard work, effort, teaching, listening, and trusting we can grow and become better people who help and serve others. I love teaching preschool and teaching applicable life lessons and skills in a fun, creative, and positive way.
